Lorrie Slade received a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from Dalhousie University and she is a registered member of Engineers Nova Scotia. In addition to her educational and professional affiliations, she has also been published in The Engineer – a quarterly publication by Engineers in Nova Scotia.
With more than 10 years of successful Project Management, Business Analysis and Process Engineering experience, Lorrie has had the opportunity to participate in a multitude of projects across varying industries, including Supply Chain Business Process Redesign, manufacturing process improvement, Professional Development course design, 6S quality implementation, and also providing logistical support to a fleet of CP-140 Aurora aircraft for the Canadian Air Force.
Lorrie has extensive experience in technical data gathering and analysis, as well as preparing clear, concise and actionable project documents. She has spearheaded process improvements which have led to substantial results for her clients, including process efficiency gains of up to 80 percent; reduction of theft by 75 percent; and a reduction in system downtime by 33 percent.
While Lorrie’s career has taken her across Canada, Halifax, Nova Scotia has always been home.
